From Tu meri main tera to tere bin nahi jeena, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has all of us hooked to his beautiful voice. Crooning the most beloved tracks from Bollywood and Lollywood, the Music maestro knows how to grab the interest of his audience.
His recent song Tere bin nahe jeena, the rendition of late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has made us all go on an emotional lovely drive and we have it on repeat.
He also did a Qawwali tour this year which had all his fans excited over the globe and was a huge success. Arranged by PME, the Just Qawali world tour 2018 started earlier this year having 100 Qawali mehfils throughout the world. The purpose of this tour was to bring back the Qawwali era back to recent times.
His single Zaroori tha created waves across the globe and become a chartbuster for a long time, featuring Gauhar Khan and Khushal Tandon in leads, the song depicted a love triangle with a lot of emotional moments in it.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has also voiced his thoughts over the Indo-Pak tensions after the URI attacks in 2016 which made the situation worst between both the countries. Some producers from across the border demanded a complete ban on Pakistani artists and their work for the Indian cinema industry neglecting the fact that they also have a huge fan following there. Babul Supriyo demanded a ban on Pakistani artists and Rahat gave him a fitting answer stating:
“In midst of so much being said all I can say is music has no boundaries and thank everyone for showing so much love for the songs which I am a part of.”
Be it a happy number or a sad one, Khan makes sure to groove us to his vocals, but there is something different about his voice:
His Alaaps and Notes:
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a man of the golden voice, not only his mellifluous voice gives you goosebumps every time but also he knows how to perfectly make a song beautiful with the quality of his voice and when we talk about Nusrat’s renditions, the only person that comes in our mind is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Rahat’s voice has a feel and uniqueness in it and not everyone is blessed with such a beautiful voice. Be it with Shreya or any other female singer, her voice goes along pretty well with every female voice and one would never feel tired of listening to his songs.
On Point Expression:
The amount of enjoyment a singer or artist gets with his performance is clearly seen with the performance and whenever we see Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performing we want the evening to go on and on without any disturbances.
Rahat’s recent track Tere bin jeena for Simmba is creating waves across the internet an features Ranvir Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and is a pretty nice song to soothe your ears and has beautiful visuals.
