Talha Anjum is a Karachi-born Pakistani rapper, songwriter and performer, best known as one half of the pioneering Urdu hip-hop duo Young Stunners, alongside Talhah Yunus. Active since the early 2010s, he has played a major role in taking Urdu rap from Pakistan's underground music scene into the mainstream.
As a solo artist, Talha has become one of Pakistan's most prominent hip-hop performers, with acclaimed projects including Open Letter and My Terrible Mind. His best-known tracks include “Downers at Dusk,” “Gumaan,” “Afsanay,” “Departure Lane,” “4AM in Karachi,” and “Secrets.”
Talha Anjum was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, and developed an interest in hip-hop during his teenage years. He co-founded Young Stunners with Talhah Yunus, and the duo initially gained attention through YouTube with tracks such as “Burger-e-Karachi” and “Maila Majnu.”
Young Stunners' 2017 album Rebirth became an important project in the development of Pakistani Urdu rap. Over the following years, the duo released major songs including “Gumaan,” “Afsanay,” “Laga Reh,” and the PSL anthem “Groove Mera.”
Talha Anjum expanded his mainstream profile through Coke Studio, appearing on Season 14's “Phir Milenge” with Faisal Kapadia and Young Stunners. He also collaborated with Faris Shafi and Karakoram on “Ye Dunya.”
Talha's solo career reached another level with his 2023 album Open Letter, which included songs such as “Downers at Dusk” and collaborations with artists including KR$NA. The album established him as a major solo force rather than simply one-half of Young Stunners.
In 2024, Talha and producer Umair released My Terrible Mind through Mass Appeal Records. The 16-track project included “Back For More,” “Good Fellas,” “5AM in Lahore,” “Heartbreak Kid,” “Jasmine,” “Departure Lane” and “Rainy Days.”
Talha also moved into film, making his acting and executive-production debut with the 2024 short film Kattar Karachi, a visual extension of My Terrible Mind. The project later received recognition at the Lux Style Awards, including Film of the Year — Viewers' Choice.
Talha remains highly active musically in 2026.
His current streaming catalogue includes several 2026 releases, including “JHOOT,” “Let's Go,” “Chal Chalein,” “2AM IN LONDON,” and “Baap Log.” Apple Music lists “JHOOT” as a July 3, 2026 release.
His Spotify profile currently lists approximately 2.67 million monthly listeners, demonstrating his continued popularity across Pakistan and the wider South Asian hip-hop audience.
