Ali Zafar is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, actor, model, producer, screenwriter, and painter. Before he became a famous singer, Ali Zafar appeared on Pakistani television. After establishing himself in a Pakistani film, he became a Bollywood star, inspiring many Pakistani actors to try their luck in Hindi cinema. Ali Zafar’s Birth Date and Early Life
Ali Zafar was born on May 18, 1980, to a Punjabi family in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. His parents were Mohammad Zafarullah and Kanwal Ameen, who taught at the University of Punjab. Ali Zafar went to C.A.A. Public School when he was young. He got his degrees from the Government College of Lahore and the National College of Arts. He also has two brothers named Zain and Danyal. Danyal is a commercial model who wants to become a singer and actor soon.
How Did Ali Zafar Start His Career?
Ali Zafar’s first job was as a sketch artist at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore. After that, he started acting in T.V serials. He made his first appearances on T.V in Kollege Jeans, Kanch Ke Par, and Landa Bazar.
It was also said that Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam stole “Channo” and “Rangeen” from Zafar’s album to use in “Chhore Ki Baatein” for the movie Fight Club and “Dillagi Mein Jo Beet Jaaye” for Aashiq Banaapne.
In November 2006, Zafar released his second album, Masty.
The song “Dekha” music video cost more than ten million rupees, making it the most expensive music video in Pakistan. Lux made the video, and Reema Khan, Meera, and Aaminah Haq were in it. The song was shot in Malaysia. The song was also included in the September 2010 Hollywood movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
Moreover, he is the fourth Pakistani artist to have songs in Hollywood movies, after Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Strings, and Atif Aslam. Zafar was also asked to be in the 2007 movie Khuda Kay Liye, but he couldn’t agree for personal reasons. After that, Fawad Khan played the part.

Achievements of Ali Zafar’s Career
Jugnuon Se Bhar De Aanchal” was sung by Zafar for the 2003 movie Shararat. In the same year, he made his musical debut with the successful album Huqa Pani. The album sold over 5 million copies worldwide and got him several awards and nominations, including the “Best Album” award from the Lux Style Awards in 2004.
