Early Life and Musical Journey

Hasan Raheem grew up in Gilgit, surrounded by the mountains and cultural atmosphere of Gilgit-Baltistan. He later moved to Karachi, where he studied medicine. Music initially began as a creative outlet for him rather than a conventional career plan. He wrote lyrics, experimented with melodies and made music with friends while continuing his studies.

Hasan Raheem's Breakthrough with “Aisay Kaisay”

The major turning point in Hasan Raheem's career came in 2020 with “Aisay Kaisay,” a collaboration with Abdullah Kasumbi. The song's smooth production, conversational lyrics and relaxed vocal style quickly connected with listeners.

“Aisay Kaisay” helped establish Hasan as a fresh voice in Pakistani pop and R&B. Rather than following a traditional pop formula, he brought an understated and contemporary sound that felt particularly natural to younger listeners.

One of Hasan Raheem's biggest career milestones came in 2022, when he appeared on Coke Studio Pakistan Season 14.

He collaborated with Talal Qureshi and Justin Bibis on “Peechay Hutt.” The energetic track introduced Hasan's sound to an even wider audience and helped bridge the gap between Pakistan's independent music movement and mainstream music culture.

The Coke Studio appearance was especially significant because it diversified his audience. Hasan himself has discussed how the platform helped more people discover and embrace his music.

Debut Album and Expanding Musical Identity

In 2022, Hasan released his debut studio album Nautanki, demonstrating that he was capable of building a larger musical project rather than relying only on viral singles.

He followed this with the 2023 EP Maybe, It's Love, which featured collaborations with several major artists. One of its most successful tracks was “Wishes,” featuring Indian Punjabi singer Talwiinder.

“Wishes” became particularly important for Hasan's international growth. Its cross-border appeal showed that contemporary South Asian music could connect audiences beyond national boundaries.

The album includes collaborations with artists including Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus, Justin Bibis, Umair, Afusic, Shehryar Khan and others.
